Alas tis not to be same problems same issues was going strong and then wham only 10 users on 7 adventuring the other day.. It's dieing.

However I found a new server which is up and needs more testers and is slowly rolling out and designing a great and fun shard. It's gotta a few RPers but could always use more.

I have a vested interest in this shard as I'm a alpha tester already.

It's a Siege Perilous type shard. 1 char 1 account and it's linked to your Forum account so no hiding on the boards. The other day I had to kill actual hinds for leather and to sell it later.. Then I had to actually track down a Blacksmith to get more daggers made. It felt like the old days of UO to me. The Staff is quite active and while no big Seer events or anything yet they plan for that in the future when they have more staff. They really want to support the community. They spawned a Shadow Wyrm in the Moonglow Lyceaum so people will gather together and attempt to slay it just to help foster Community integration and activity.

Also they keep the size of the landmass restricted to match the number of players so for now there is only Moonglow Island with a Mine and there are orcs, Pirates, Harpies and other monsters roaming it. So you constantly see and interact with other players.

There is no Recall only Gate and they have a ROT system so once you hit 70 you can only gain so much per day in each skill. So far I think the highest anyone is in a skill is about 85. The higher you get the slower it goes. So GM actually means something.

Turns out it was a returning vet from 10 years ago and he inquired about the old Skara Brae community. The one name he remembered was Stella Maris. ...
